Rivington & Blackrod High School Hosts KS3 Science Fair

On Friday, 24th April 2026, students at Rivington & Blackrod High School took part in the annual Key Stage 3 Science Fair, exploring the challenge of designing sustainable, eco-friendly cities for the future.
Working collaboratively in teams, students brought their ideas to life in a variety of creative ways. Projects demonstrated strong teamwork, problem-solving and a clear understanding of environmental challenges, with students confidently presenting and explaining their thinking.
The overall standard was exceptionally high, reflecting the time, effort and enthusiasm that had gone into each project.
Events like the Science Fair play an important role in encouraging curiosity and innovation, while helping students to develop key skills that will support them in their future studies and careers.
