Rivi Fest 2025 – A Fantastic End to the School Year!

To mark the end of the summer term, Rivington & Blackrod High School brought the whole school community together for Rivi Fest 2025 — a day of celebration, teamwork and house spirit to round off the academic year.
There was a real sense of pride and togetherness as students and staff wore their house colours with enthusiasm, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere across the school. The day was packed with a wide range of activities, including dance sessions, inflatables, a competitive game of rounders, a scavenger hunt and a ‘Race Across the World’ challenge in Geography.
In Technology, students took part in a structure-building competition, while others got involved in creative and problem-solving activities across different subjects. Live music from the school’s talented student musicians added to the excitement, creating a positive and celebratory mood throughout the day.
The event concluded with the announcement of the Rivi Fest 2025 House Competition winners, with Rowling House taking the top spot — a well-deserved achievement after a day of outstanding participation and teamwork.
Rivi Fest 2025 was a great success and a wonderful way to celebrate another successful year at Rivington & Blackrod High School, filled with laughter, friendship and school spirit.
