Harper Green School Open Evening 2025

Harper Green School held its annual Open Evening on Thursday, 18th September 2025, welcoming the highest number of prospective families seen in recent years. The school had a warm and lively atmosphere as visitors explored the site, met staff and students and found out more about what makes Harper Green a ‘Good’ school.
Families had the chance to tour the school’s facilities, take part in a range of hands-on activities and talk to teachers and students about learning and life at Harper Green. Many also attended one of the Headteacher talks, which provided insight into the school’s vision, academic progress and the opportunities available both in and beyond the classroom.
Feedback from visitors was very positive, with families commenting on the friendliness of staff, the enthusiasm of students and the strong sense of community that runs throughout the school.
Alongside the Open Evening, Harper Green also hosted an Open Day, giving families the opportunity to visit during the school day. Families enjoyed guided tours, observed live lessons and met members of the Year 7 team, gaining a clear sense of what learning at Harper Green is like.
Both events offered a great opportunity to showcase the school and its values — a place where students are supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their ambitions.
