12 Days of Christmas: Celebrating Our Staff
Friday, 19th December 2025

Throughout December, colleagues across Leverhulme Trust took part in the annual 12 Days of Christmas staff campaign, a Trust-wide initiative designed to support staff engagement and provide a way to say thank you during the final weeks of the autumn term.
The campaign ran across the 12 working days leading up to the Christmas holidays, with a digital advent calendar sharing a daily activity or small gesture. These included a range of activities and gifts with a focus on wellbeing, sustainability and opportunities for colleagues to connect during a busy period.
As part of the campaign, staff were also invited to take part in the Trust Christmas Quiz, with one £50 One4All voucher awarded at each school. This year’s winners were:
- Harper Green School: David Warrington
- Rivington & Blackrod High School: Danielle Wadeson
- Lostock Primary School: Larisa Sowden

One member of staff said: “I haven’t had anything like this in any place I’ve worked before. It’s been nice to have something to look forward to each day.”
